This one is based on one of my all-time favourite authors, Raymond Chandler. The challenge was to write similes in his style. I really couldn't live up to it! From 10 feet away she looked like something made up to be seen from 30 feet away. - She smelled the way the Taj Mahal looks by moonlight. - He looked about as inconspicuous as a tarantula on a slice of angel food. And here's my attempt. As graceful as a cat across piano keys She walked the strings of my heart Like the trunk of a 100 foot tree It melted apart.
