Since I've been spending a lot of time learning lisps recently, my mind
immediately went there when I read the prompt was 'lists'. I didn't
spend much time on this one.

Within the budding prentheseses
A chain of addresses,
First points to self
and rest points elsewhere.

Car, caddr, cdr, cdddr, 
All leading to some memory
or some future association
along the rusty linkages of 
past and present
