When sad things happen
Said the dog lying low in the meadow
I tend to think about her sweet perfume

I have the urge to lap up a bowl of milk
Said the rolling kitten

I like to climb to the top of a blade of grass
Said the prancing grasshopper
And see if today is the day
I finally get to see the inside of the bird's mouth
