Not exactly in the spirit of the prompt, which suggests superposing
something like 'non-diegetic' music on a scene.

Rackety kitchen, drawers slamming
Pot being pulled out. Hob clicking
Then sound of flame, igniting

Chef's phone, phone speakers
Playing something middle eastern
High frequency vibration of strings
weaves itself around spaghetti strands

Now, something folky fills the air
"Whereupon I rested from
your God awful lawlessness"
Lawlessness bubbles along
In small pockets of liquefying tomatoes

Fridge door opens and JayZ beats flood in
Icicle sparkles, frost, touched by high-hats
Sub kick tickles the bass
marinating in lemon juice

In the heart of the room
The oven pre-heats
soft echos of spotify playlist
swimming slowly through rising heat

Kitchen door swings open
And chuffed chef bares evening dishes
Their effect only slightly diminished
By the Detroit techno accompaniment
Spiraling out through kitchen doors
Playfully interrupting refined conversations
