A cat in a box, a cat with a hat
Striped red and white and longer than cat's tail
Emerging on the horizon, waves that
crash, sounds of foam, violent particles
Forced to settle now into position
The tyranny of 'now', blanketing land
and sea in hues of morning reds. Partition
of waves by onlooker, observer, I.

Cat's hat cast across ocean ripples, white
mixed with bluered and where does cat's death come
into the picture? Where waves collapse, right
now? Into the 'now' of it all? Into some

Great mixture of cat and morning sunrise
Waves becoming colour points before eyes.
