Poetry Writing Month 2024
-------------------------

I'm back again for the third year in a row to participate in this
wonderful month of poetry.

- Update 20th May, 2024 :: I've completed another poetry writing month!
  This time I was 20 days late! But I managed 29/30 poems which is one
  more than last year (which itself was one more than the year before).
  Once again I loved participating in the challenge. For the first seven
  days or so I was writing a poem every day, then there was a lot of
  missing days and writing poems in batches later on (usually on the
  weekends). I had the majority of the poems completed at the end of
  the month, and over the last 20 days I've tried to pick the remaining
  ones off when I've had the time.

At some point I'd like to come back here and pick out a few of my
favourites, and maybe even try to keep up the poetry writing throughout
the year this time. We'll see.

Poetry Writing Month 2023
-------------------------

It's April 1st 2023, a year later. I've come back to this page to start
adding the new poems for April 2023.

- Update Mon May  1, 2023 :: Well, I managed to complete another year
  of poetry writing month! Unfortunately, I fell behind over the last
  week, and only managed to complete 28/30 poems. It's one better than
  last year at least. Once again,[1], I enjoyed it a lot, already looking
  forward to next year.

Poetry Writing Month 2022
-------------------------
I've set up this page as an attempt to participate in Global Poetry
Writing Month (GloPoWriMo)[2].

I haven't really written any poetry before, but I do like reading it.
I'm using GloPoWriMo as an excuse to try learn how to write some.

The goal is to write a poem a day for the month of April. That's 30
poems! Well, I only found out about GloPoWriMo on the 3rd of April, so
I've started from then.
