On the Radio - October 2026
Another post about things I’ve been listening to on the radio (mainly BBC Radio 3, Night Tracks). Very folk themed.
Blues Run the Game - Janileigh Cohen
A great version of a classic.

Eibhlín Gheal Chiúin Ní Chearbhaill - Paahto & The Bull
Incredible! I went and bought the record of this album after hearing this. It was the first time I’ve been in a record store in I don’t know how long! The album is named after the “123” bus route in Dublin (prior to its renaming). Anyway, I also live on this bus route, so that was extra incentive to buy it.

Resting - Pat’s Soundhouse
Don’t know much about this, I just heard it and liked it.

The Parting Glass - Caroline Shaw
Another amazing version of a classic.
